Written by Sally Branch, who before training as a Health Coach, worked as an Occupational Therapist in the NHS with people with mental health problems and with those with long term conditions, focusing on enabling people to live well despite on-going health problems.

Sally is also the author of a two day Mental Health Recovery Coaching Course, currently delivered in conjunction with a health trust and a local mental health charity. She is particularly interested in the application of evidenced psychological approaches, including positive psychology, to the field of health and well-being coaching, in order to help people experience true wellness rather than simply the absence of illness.
